Hye Young An is a visual artist based between South Florida and Seoul, working across drawing, printmaking and book arts. Her practice emerges from processes of observation, recording, and material exploration, with a focus on translating emotions and experiences that are difficult to express in words into visual language.Through quiet observation of herself and the world, she explores the ways in which identity, memory, and relationships are shaped within personal, social, and cultural contexts.
